Sunlight is damaging, too and yet we wouldn't live without it. To me, screaming is very helpful. I think that much of my problem is/was stuffing down anger and grief. And I am scared of people, because I can't express anger in order to defend myself. It is a vicious circle.

And when I get prepsychotic or paranoid, it is usually overwhelming feelings of anger or anxiety (related) that precede. Figured that out with my Psychologist. Why do these feelings get overwhelming? Because they are stuffed down again and again and accumulate over time.

I'm not saying that I can stop my meds, but I sure can avoid some paranoid, pre psychotic episodes. They never last more than part of a day, so I figured this is an issue for the Psychologist rather than the Psychiatrist.
