I just discovered some "filters" and tried them out. FYI, the program I use is GraphicConverter:

yes, that's a fantastic program, available for free. and updated very often.
Dr. Bob, is your picture evolving? it looks like you're getting fuzzier and glowing or something?
*please* tell me that it's your photo and not my visual cortex misbehaving!!

umm. yeah...
bad llrrrpp has been using this program since her days as a starving student. Never let me down once. So easy to convert different graphics formats (jpgs into gifs into ... whatever you need)
so, I plead the fifth regarding the "cost" of this program. Crap. another thing to feel bad about.

day 1: wearing makeup? low pass filter?
day 2: jaundice
day 3: pregnant glow
day 4: disintegration into pixelswhat is day 5? Bob, I'm worried about you. Please take care of yourself! I don't know what your syndrome is. You may want to contact your physician (assuming you have enough pixels left in your brain to carry out complex cognitive operations like dialing doctor's phone number).
hope you feel better soon. What dose of GraphicConverter are you on anyways? the side effects look pretty intolerable.

I think I will check out this program (that is, if they have a mac version). I'm always looking for more tools.
I had to get photoshop, illustrator, and indesign for school - part of the required software for design students :)
