The last three weeks I have been weening off of celxa and taking 5htp at the same time. I thought switching to a more natural would be better for me in the long run. However, I'm starting to feel different again and the celexa really worked for me.
So my question are: Does anyone know if a natural medicin is better for you or the same as a perscription medicin?
Also on celexa I get insomnia so I must take trazadone for sleep every night. To everyone that has insomnia with celexa - what do you do to help it?
Thanks everyone : )

> Thanks everyone : )Don't worry about the trazadone, it's non-addictive and works-just take like 25 mgs or less even. Or 7.5 mgs of remeron does the trick, too. If it worked KEEP taking it!! Yeah natural ones are o.k., You could do SJohns wort or SAM-e with 5htp, but... do that long after the celexa to wean off and see how it goes. I had trouble sleeping on St. John's, too

Melatonin worked decently for me when I was having
trouble sleeping from Celexa. My dad had a lot
of trouble sleeping when he went OFF celexa (for
a few weeks actually)
