I'm sure this has been mentioned before on these boards but it bears repeating. Read this link about prozac interacting with other drugs:
http://www.lifescapepro.com/respha-fluoxetine.html
In another post, I mentioned that I felt alot better in the evening last night and felt like cleaning my apartment, which is a perpetual mess. I thought that maybe the Prozac was finally stabalizing in my body. This morning, I felt depressed again due to lack of sleep. At around noon, without warning, I felt like I did last evening and felt cheerful and again, wanting to do things.
When I realized the common demoninator was adderall-last evening, it had worn off and this morning, it was about time for my noon dose, I had an aha experience. Instead of 10mg, I only took 5mg because I remember someone on this board (sorry I can't remember who) suggesting that. So far, so good.
I then found that link that confirms what I think that person had said about prozac increasing the effect of stimulants essentially making me feel like I had taken 60mg instead of the 30mg I had been taking. Hopefully, my experience will be helpful to someone in similar circumstances.

Sunnely here.....
James, I beg to disagree with you on this. One psychotropic drug (mood stabilizer) that is notorious for causing the blood levels of some psychotropics (e.g., Haldol, Serzone, Seroquel, Buspar, Prozac, Xanax, etc.) and some nonpsychotropic drug to drop is carbamazepine (Tegretol). This can lead to loss of effectiveness and potential for relapse.
If you classify St. John's Wort as a psychotropic agent (antidepressant), like Tegretol, it can also reduce the blood levels of other psychotropic drugs and certain nonpsychotropics, leading to loss of effectiveness and potential for relapse.
