I have heard that taking Prozac with Wellbutrin is supposed to negate the sexual side effects common with Prozac, but I heard that Wellbutrin can cause agitation, sometime severely so.
I responded well to Prozac (I was very leveled out and panic attacks/anxiety disappeared) but my libido died. I am now on Serzone and find that it keeps me up at night and speeds me out a little. I am considering discussing with my P-doc going back to Prozac in combination with another drug. Does anyone have recommendations that I can research so I can be prepared for my P-doc? I am much obliged.

I would ask your doctor about BuSpar. For a lot of people, taking BuSpar with Prozac restores libido and also cuts down on the jittery feeling that comes to many when they start taking the drug. Also, if you suffer from anxiety, it might be a good idea to take some BuSpar just to make sure that it doesn't return when you are waiting the several weeks for Prozac to take its full effect.
My symptoms were a little different than yours, but the combo also helped me with few side effects. I'd check it out.
Best of Luck.

Mary Ann,
Search Medline- there is a report of a doctor who used Mirapex to treat a women's SSRI (of which Prozac is one) sexual problems. Mirapex has also been shown to augment the AD effects of SSRIs.
