I've tried both adrafinil and ritalin for anxiety and ADD. Both made me feel worse. Would Mirapex be one of the next logical avenues that I should try and follow.

From the "by the book" treatment methods of most doctors, no. Dexidrine, then Wellbutrin, then maybe an SSRI, then finally an antipsychotic might be the general treatment path. Of course, you could always try tweaking the doses, or trying the meds for longer, as these factors contribute enormously to a meds ultimate effectiveness. For me, ritalin seems to make things worse at first, for about two weeks, then from then on it worked wonders on my ADD. I was on 5 mg 3x a day.
Also, consider the possibility of a misdiagnosis. Inability to focus/concentrate, impulsivity and many of ADD's classic symptoms are also symptoms of innumerable other mental disorders.
This is the end of the thread.
