Hi everybody,
Again.. to all who answered previous posts of mine, thank you... it's so nice to know people who don't even know you can care about you!
Anyway.... can anybody help me in these areas?1) Does effexor xr interact with local dental anasthesia? I have been to the dentist twice since I started... and didn't notice anything... for some reason all the sudden, I felt compelled to ask. Probably cuz I have many upcoming dentist appts to look forward to. (I think I mentioned this previously.. but I was in a car accident and the air bag can really do a number on teeth).. who'd of thought.
2) I've read alot about many of you taking trazadone at night to help sleep. I just happen to have a bottle, and occasional sleepless nights. What I'm wondering is.... can you take trazadone occasionally with effects? Or does it have to be built up in your system? On the the nights I can't sleep.. if I pop one will it work? Probably sounds like a stupid question to all of you.... I'm new at all this.
Okay... getting long..... I hope you all are doing well.I'm..getting addicted to your well-being. :-)
Thanx in advance for any answers! Michele

In reply to 2 effexor questions dying for an answer., posted by Michele on April 7, 2001, at 1:07:03
Effexor XR doesn't interact with dental anasthesia. I in fact had 4 wisdom teeth pulled out on Effexor.
I think you would like trazodone's relative nefazodone a lot better for sleep (less weight gain and anticholinergic side-effects).
This is the end of the thread.
