Hi All,
Does anybody on this board know if one can get a permanent brain damage from psychosis?
I 'm actually suffering from an emotional numbing: i previously thought it was due to TCA use, but
later on I've been reconsidering that, and wondered if the numbing effect could have been caused from my previous psychotic episode which took place back in 1993. (psychotic depression).
This blunting effect showed up later on though (something like 4 years after having experienced psychosis). I was already apathetic when i was psychotic but nothing compared how i've been feeling in the past four years (no joy at all, no sex drive,anti-social, etc...).
Is it possible that the effect of brain damage would show up later on instead of in the very moment of the psychotic episode or almost immediatly afterwards? Thanks for listening

Sounds like the depression never remitted. To my you are describing depression and not brain damage.
