Congratulations on continuing to look for help. I had a doctor who said he would continue the anti-depressant prescription my psychiartrist prescibed. And then he lowered the dose. I became completely disfunctional just at the time my Dad was ill and dying, adding more stress and depression. So much so that I couldn't remember that the dosage had been lowered. I went back to my doctor and asked for help.
He said, "you're on too many pills". I was puzzled by that. How many am I allotted in life? Where's it written we all have to have the same amount of medication regardless of symptoms!
I asked him then what should I do because he was just prepared to leave it there. He finally said "find another doctor." Best advise he ever gave me.
I was lucky. The first one I called and talked to was very competent and professional. He's changed my meds and changed my life. I recommend him to any I can. (He's not on the internet)
So keep looking. Life favors those who have persistance, even in the face of difficulties.
This is the end of the thread.
