Has anyone had or heard of Prozac withdrawal symptoms? My sister is experiencing flu-like symptoms, sore muscles. Wondering if Prozac withdrawal could be the reason.

I have heard that there are [mild] withdrawal symptoms for Prozac. But it goes out of the body fairly slowly, so it shouldn't be too bad. Tell her to take some tylenol and some vitamin C (in case she really IS getting sick) and relax.

Yes it does cause lethargy and feelings of sickness. I know because I am experiencing them now.
I would love to compare symptoms with your sis and possibly be a support system for each other. How
long has she been taking it? I've been on it for four years. I am also experiencing anxiety and dizziness. It has been
about a month now that I haven't been on it at all. I am wondering when these symptoms will subside.
My e-mail is sharchud@yahoo.com Please feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you or anyone else that
might have some sound answers.
