Does anyone take Topamax and Lamictal?

Hi all! I'm thinking of asking my pdoc to add Lamictal to my current cocktail - topamax 250, prozac 40, neurontin 2400.

This is because the Prozac is definitely helping but it seems to be cancelling out some of the benefits of the Topamax,g and raising the Top is out of the question because it's sedating and I've wondered if I shouldn't be on Lamictal instead but my pdoc is reluctant to switch me because the Top has helped.

O.K. up for a breath...

So, I was wondering if anyone has had luck taking the two of them together or if that were unheard of?

Sounds like a good combo to me. The other thing you could do is add zyprexa or tegretol to your mix.

When I recently became manic, my pdoc added Topamax to my Lamictal. So far, I'm up to 150 mg. I really like it, especially for my mixed-state symptoms of irritability and the sad & lonelies. So far, I haven't had any side effects beyond a bit of sedation.
