Hi, I have been taking effexor xr for about 3yrs. now 75mg. at nite. I am beginning to have some strange happenings. Hot flashes, feeling in my stomach especialy when I first wake up in the morning like light nausea along with some other feelings I can't really explain. It seems to happen mostly when I have something chocolate or iced tea during the day or at nite before bed. I am also feeling somewhat fatigued. Up until now, I have been doing very well on this mg. was wondering if this is normal. Also, I really don't think I want to take a higher mg. I have put on some weight that is making me very uncomfortable. I have been small for most of my life and any small amt. of weight gain bothers me. I have heard or read that this med. makes you crave sweets.........which I have been having alot of lately. Could explain some of the weight gain. Well, does anyone have any ideas. Thanks
