i have just started taking effexor today, this is the first ad i have ever taken. I'm taking 75mg and soon after i took it i started to feel euphoric and now i feel stoned and have a really bad headache. Is this really worth it / Do you think i should keep taking it or try and sort my problems out by myself ?

When starting any medication, you can realistically expect any number of strange effects. They usually go away with time. Like the headache for example. That being said, 75mg as a first time dose could be a bit high for most people to start with. Cutting the dosage down to half for a few days should help.
