hi. Is it safe to take with these meds? I plan to try it soon for my depression. Also how long does it take to notice any possible effect?

I think you are playing with fire.
Mixing 5-htp with any prescription
med that has anything to do with
serotonin is probably not wise.No-one has conclusively shown that 5-htp
itself is safe. I have tried it alone, and
it helped relieve anxiety, and a lot of people
use it successfully for insomnia, but I have
to doubt its utility in depression.-john
