Hi,
I have decided just to stop taking effexor xr. My doctor started me on 75mg, this is my 6th day. Do you honestly think this would be safe ?Thanks

At that dose after 6 days, probably not a big
deal. May want to take 1/2 a dose for one or
two days. Why give up so soon though?-john

Because everything i have read on this message board has persauded me that effexor xr is hard to come off and the symptoms last for ages, like brain buzzes. I really don't want to have to leave my job 6 months down the line because effexor has made me ill. I'd much rather be on one which is easier to withdraw from!!
