hello everyone,i have a few quick questions i hope someone can help with.ive taken tons of different ad`s of all classes the only one that i find any relief to is with parnate right now.since my doc knos so little id rely on an answer here even better..the question is parnate....is 6o mg the absolute highest your allowed to go..is 90 like nardil not a possablity?
i do realize parnate is more potent than nardil.
i just wanna know if 60 mg is even an option for me..anyone have any experiances on that,thanksokay second is i take klonopin,which is like a god send but it works so well im scared to use it a lot in fear of becomming addicted or having it loose its effect on me,cause it has been nothing short of a miracle for me.my question is what other med has the closet method of action as klonopin does....ive looked into gabitril....i hear topomax...but specifically what drug wors the same way klonopin does....im hoping gabitirl,and if it does does it also carry the hazardous klonopin does such as the addicting dangers???
P.S looking at all the postive responses of klonopin if i were a pharm company id be working on a drug that is the same excat funtcion as klonopin but try to add a anti depressant feel to it...wait a minute i think that exists.....GHB !!

Hey D,
I just wanted mention your post last week was very inspirational and I appreciate you coming to the board to tell of a positive story.
Parnate is a great medication, a life saver for many patients unresponsive to many other meds. Traditional doses your hear are 40 to 60 mg per day. But most psychopharm experts are comfortable going to doses of 150 mg per day with parnate. Some even augment with stimulants. So you have a lot of room to go with you dosage.

thanks for the response.the parnate dose im on of 40 mg is still quite effective i just feel better knowing i have options now of going higher with the med if it doesent work,i have no plans on switching to any other ad`s ever unless it may be nardil.i also know this med is working cause im goin tru huge life changes right now which ya know is hell if youre sick and im hnadling em all pretty smooth.the klonopin works well in the times when i feel like im loosing my edge its a great feeling to have that tool i just wish there was something that worked like klonpin that i could take regualry that dident have the addictive possablity...i personly do nto feel comfortable taking klono daily but i know many people do...i wont right now.but im researching into this.
also ive been reading this board for quite a while and i promised myself that i would never post anytihng negative unless i had something postive to offer as well ,and thats why i waited,i can understand a question or one comment but constant negativity can cause people wo are reading this extrmeme anxiety it did for me many times but once again this is just my opinion.thanks
