I was taken 100mg of Topamax 2X a day and after 1 manic episode in quite a while my doctor decided to increase my dose to 200mg 2X a day. I'm scared to take this higher dose. After a 9 month depression I found Topamax and it became my wonder drug I was no longer depressed, I finally got out of the bed and started living.
The manic episode was just one in a very long time. What could the increase dose do to me? Could it "calm" me down too much. What I mean by living, is I'm doing normal things again that I was supposed to be doing all the time like cleaning my house, leaving my house, going shopping, playing with my kids. I'm scared a higher dose could just put me out of it again.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
