I guess I should have added this to my above questions. I have read a lot of threads, but am still so confused. What is the best combo of meds for bipolar II? I do not want to take depakote because I do not want to lose my hair. My dr. states lexapro is no different than Celexa. Is there anything that just will balance someone and give energy???

Hi Mandy,
I took the depakote for three years and never lost a hair. Side effects dont happen to everyone.
There is no one best combo for everyone. It takes time to find the right one that fits you. Kinda like buying shoes, the tag might say two differnt pairs are the same size but you have to try them on to make sure.
