Cybercafe - are you still using Parnate and Zyprexa?
I quit Parnate because I was having periods of bad disphoria with suicidal ideation. I usually have this anyway but it was worse on the Parnate. However, at other times I felt more normal than I have for twenty years or more.
Recently I've changed to Clomipramine and added in Zyprexa. The Zyprexa stops the disphoria with suicidal ideation cycles, but I don't get much of an antidepressant boost with Clomipramine.
I was thinking about asking my pdoc to let me try the Zyprexa with Parnate. I'm sure that in some of your posts you've said that you were trying that combination.
I think both drugs lower blood pressure so I don't know how compatable the two would be. Can you tell me your experience?
Thanks, Vince
