Hello,
Anybody have experience purchasing meds online from Mexico? Any thought about the quality of these meds?

While importation laws state you can bring, I think it is, 50 units of medicine, even a controlled substance, into the U.S. from Mexico, that means you must *physically* bring it in, e.g., carry it across the border. It does not mean you can bring it in through the mail. Importation through the mail is illegal, even if the substance is FDA approved, and you don't want the FDA or the DEA on your tail if they intercept the package at the border or somewhere else along its way to you. As far as meds I have gotten in Mexico, my experience is they compare to generic in strength, even if they carry a U.S. brand name.

There are special charter buses from Phoenix and Tucson just for this purpose. I have bought some medicines down there three times. But the psych meds weren't much cheaper because most of them are relatively new. Other stuff like skin ointments and antibiotics were much less than in the USA. Mexico is a third world country, the whole endevour is a bit spooky. Remember it takes time and money to get yourself down there and back. You never know how its been stored or how old it is. I have had good experiences, but no huge savings on the psych meds to date.
This is the end of the thread.
