EFFEXOR XR....STARTER

Posted by Bridget on July 10, 2003, at 13:56:02

HI EVERYONE..I just started on a sample pack, but the first couple of days or more are small pills then they get bigger in two days what is going to happen I was never told. I go back next week to see how I am doing and actually get a written prescription and not the samples anymore..So far i feel like never eating a little nausea and major sweating but I take every morning at 7 and I sleep so good....
Any feed back on whether my side effects will get worse afyer the small pills??

Hi Bridget, When I first started on EffexorXR, I got very nauseas, and a slight headache. These side effets went away as time went on and my body adjusted to the Effexor. I'm assuming your doctor has you starting on 37.5 mg? That's great you got a starter pack! If you have any questions please feel free to ask me-I have been on Effexor for a while off and on and I always go back on-it is the only anti-depressant that has done wonders for me.
Good luck

Gal
