Here is a good list of symptoms for SSRI withdrawal syndrome:

http://www.psycom.net/depression.central.withdrawal.html

You should be able to lessen the severity or eliminate altogether the withdrawal syndrome by weaning off the drug sensibly. You should ask your doctor how best to go about this. I don't think it makes sense to discontinue Zoloft abruptly ("cold turkey"). The half-life of Zoloft is approximately 24 hours. This is favorable compared to Paxil or Effexor.

Good luck.
