LEXAPRO DAY 9.....................

Posted by galkeepinon on August 10, 2003, at 0:59:19

Hi, the last 3 days I started taking the Lexapro at about 2pm-I seem to be sleeping until 12 noon lately. (I go to school a few nights a week)
Today I felt a little mood swing, I didn't like it, it reminded me of how I was feeling before the Lexapro. I started taking Lamictal everyday today also so maybe the combo will kick in? I really hope so, I was doing pretty good until today, maybe it had nothing to do with the Lexapro, but instead something I need to look at that a medication won't fix ;-) Anyone have any comments? Jlo??
SLS???
Thanks for all those who read my posts about my progress on Lexapro.

Sounds like you are doing good.

I think a mood swing now and then is OK, I would be worried if I felt no emotion. You don't want that.

Hang in there! I think you are doing extremely well for only being on lexapro nine days - really. it took me at least 6 weeks (maybe more) before i saw much improvement, so this medication must be working well for you. also i agree with Jlo when she said ups and downs are normal, that's what i like about lexapro i don't feel zombie-like at all. i wish you all the best - posting your progress here is good therapy and helps others too - kinsey. p.s. i started lexapro the end of May - 10m.g.
