I have just started taking dexadrine (300 mg/time release) and to my surprise, rather than feeling more alert or agitated, I feel stoned. I prefer this feeling to my solild atypical depression, but I am curious about it. Do most people feel stoned on dexadrine (a pleasant dopiness) or is my response potentially indicative of some variety of undiagnosed ADD?

Does anyone else, besides me, seem to get realllllly dizzy and logey when the dex wears off?
I am fine when doing desk work; but if it's qa day when I need to run around or deal with formal presentations, I tend to feel like the bottom falls out the MINUTE the dex wears off. As in, rubber legs, slightly disoriented, a feeling of wanting to lie down immediately.
It's taken a while for me to identify that this feeling may be hypotension.
Anyone relate? Solutions?
The sustained release form has always made me feel kind of lousy, but I am thinking of giving it another try.
This is the end of the thread.
