hi to everyone<<
i have been on effexor for about 6 months now and have recently been changed from my regular dose of 150mg to 225mg. i am interested if anyone has experienced 'loss of themselves', decreased memory, restlessness/agititation and a hightened emotional state. also, to all those ppl who have stopped taking effexor, what withdrawral effects did you experience and for how long, how is life now, and is it any better/different without the effexor??

I was on 150mg twice a day and I quit cold turkey the sweats were horrible and my stomach was upset all the time and I had ringing in my ears so bad it almost drove me nuts. The mood swings were really bad the tears came very easy. I went back on 150mg at night my Dr. told me I had to because the depression has gotten so bad and he said this is the medicine for me. I have to keep seeing this Dr. until Feburary because of legal issues then I can find a new Dr. that I want to see.
