Last year i was Dx with bipolar, tried a few different meds(sonata, xanax, effexor, zyprexa) and finally met a Great psychiatrist and he put me on Symbyax and Strattera for Bp2 and ADHD. Any advice on side effects on Symbyax? any food issues?
-just want to note that i've been surfing A LOT since my Dx and this is just the best place. I've got a lot of great info and reassurance from you folks. Thanks.

I don't thibk anyone knows as you may be the first on this board who has tried Symbax since it is SO new to the market. I am interested in this medication as I take Zyprexa and Zoloft, so I might drop those and try this since it is a combination of Zyprexa and Prozac.

Since Symbyax is Prozac & Zyprexa in one capsule, the side effects would be the same as for each of them. Personally, I never had any problems with Prozac. Zyprexa makes a lot of people gain a lot of weight--I gained 50 pounds on it and have never been able to lose so watch your weight while your taking it.
