Toronto: My doc accepting patients, no wait

Posted by cybercafe on February 24, 2004, at 0:26:06

ok i havn't seen this done before but i hear from enough of you guys complaining about seeing bad doctors or not able to find a doctor at all

i know it's subjective but after 7 years of not being diagnosed and then not treated, my doc managed to treat BP + anxiety + ADD (Abilify, Parnate, Ritalin, Clonazepam).... i know have 2 jobs and feel like i've made a full recovery

what isn't subjective is that he was the head of the emergency department for the clarke and women's college (of the prestigious sunnybrook we all hear about) ... consultant psychiatrist, other psychiatrists come to him to treat difficult cases, etc etc

i was thrown into a system where i had to wait 3 months to see a doc every 1 or 2 months who couldn't do anything for me.... now i find there are EXCELLENT doctors out there who have plenty of time for new patients..... i wish someone had told ME about this years ago!!

if anyone is interested i will post my email or something

(p.s. yes dr. bob my doctor gave me permission to post on the internet but because i fear he may not appreciate the exposure of these messages i would rather not post his name directly)

not sure, why don't you give him a call? he literally solves problems in a second that even the best guys on the net (*you guys are better than my previous docs, for the record*) can't figure out ..... well for me anyway... maybe i shouldn't promise so much? but this guy is just so SMART and educated

email me: pbad2001@yahoo.com and i will help you get in touch

it's really a shame

just like in martial arts, you'll find the best instructors concentrate 100% on fighting and 0% on business (advertising, collecting fees) and go broke while the mediocre guys focus on business and flourish but don't provide a good service

seems like the same thing in psychiatry ...

if i had found this guy 7 years ago ...........

okay email me pbad2001@yahoo.com and put doctor name request or something in the title (i get lots of spam) and let's see if we can change your life around .. i can't promise anything but i CAN go on for hours about what he has done for me that other doctors can't, what he knows that other doctors don't, even people psychobabble (more up to date than my previous docs) don't, his unique credentials ... and that fact that he can see you right away....

hopefully after he helps you out you will tell your friends, especially hard to treat cases, and we can help solve this mental health CRISIS

P.S. anyone else who knows a good doc that takes patients without a waiting period PLEASE share we have to help each other.... we are all brothers and sisters here ... NO ONE ELSE respects what we go through

btw this guy just knows crazy stuff that no one else knows and i really wish he would publish papers on it ... like that SSRIs can act as mood stabilizers (no one believed me when i posted this but i did find it to be true for low dose, high selective stuff like celexa) .. what else? i don't remember ... i've stopped trying to get info from psychobabble this guy is so good ... before he retires someone has got to get him to put his knowledge down somewhere (ummm.. i think he teaches classes ... but there is so much else that could be done)
