Would grapefruit effect the metabolism of effexor? If so, faster or slower ??

Hi;
Grapefruit, whether liquid or solid, affects the effectiveness of most of psycho.meds. I've been on.
Somewhere here, Internet, I read that some chemical of Grapefruit causing this.In my case, if I either eat or drink Grapefruit related, even just a couple of spoonfuls of drinks, next day it causes the decrease of anti-dep. effect.
At least, you're NOT alone in this regard.
