I have read quite a few studies now. One that showed that statins induce neuroegenesis, and quite a few others that showed significant positive correlation between duration of statin use and symptoms of depression anxiety and hostility.
I'm going to start eating bacon fat, and ask my doctor for a cholesterol test!! Kidding

I have not heard this. It's interesting. I have taken statins for a few years for cholesterol. My cholesterol wasn't extremely high (it was 220), but my doc wanted me on it anyway since studies indicated that they can help prevent heart disease even when given to people with normal cholesterol levels.
