Is there anyone out there with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and Bipolar with hallucinations {with insight though} who can share his or her experience becoming diagnosed and discuss the proven or presumed causes?
I'm bipolar without any neurological diagnosis, but I am curious about TLE as a more appropriate diagnosis or co-diagnosis.

My doctor thought I had temporal lobe issues based on my derealization which antipsychotics just made worse.
Tegrotol sure helped but it made me very depressed because I could not imagine anymore.
