hi, i am due to start on Abilify after three years on Sulpiride which, although useful in controlling symptoms, led to weight gain and no periods due to elevated prolactin. My psych believes Abilify doesn't elevate prolactin so he is putting me on it. But what other effects does it have? Does it cause weight gain? I am sick of being ten kilos heavier!:(
Does it cause insomnia?
Also, i am gradually phasing out the Sulpiride as i add the Abilify and need to be fine and settled on it by mid-September, when i move to Kenya and start working there.
What have been people's experiences switching to it? Any side effects?

I was able to LOSE 30 lbs from dieting while taking Abilify.
