Hi,
I've been on Zyprexa for a few months and have noticed a couple of odd things. My hands will tense and I have to consciously un-tense them. This has affected my handwriting. I also get this spasm in my lower left eyelid. You can't see it, but it is bothersome.
I'm wondering if it's the Zyprexa or just me.

I took 5mg of Zyprexa for little more than a week and it would make my hands and arms jerk and twitch for no reason ... it was completely out of my control.
So it could very well be the Zyprexa

Sounds liek it could be EPS, Talk to your doc about this for sure!!!!!

In the beginning of the Zyprexa tx., did you have those 'S.E.s? If you did NOT have one, then the other med.(as recalling you've been on two meds.), Cymbalta(a brand new A.D.) causing muscularskeletal problem? I read/heard that some of those who are on Cymbalta getting S.E. similar to EPS.If EPS due to the Zyprexa, then it is easily treated with benadryl or cogentin. Talk to your pdoc.

Thanks all for your input. I think I will talk to my pdoc about it. For now, I want to try the Benadryl route. Any idea on the dosing?
