I've taken my dad's Luminal, its ok, a little heavy, but it does make me just relax and take life smooth, and im not going to explode. I think alot of this is self-inflicted anxiety, i think have a bad case of Hysteria, ohhh not to mention nuerosis.
I dont know why but im just intrested in older med treatments.
Now i think the duration is 10-12 hours which is a little long, i dont like loooooong duration.
I have taken Amytal before, it lasted for about 5-6 hours, but i dont want to try that again, to much impairment.
What about Miltown?
Anyways, just pray that i will someday have it together.

From all the Posts I've looked at today, it seems that the med "experts" have gone on vacation. I can't believe ed-uk is not on the board! I know here in the states, {don't know where you are} that they don't use Miltown anymore. Not since the l970's would be my guess. The "in" drug for anxiety is Klonopin. I'm on it and I don't like it. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Phillipa

Klonopin is not in for me.
I have severe cases of panic attacks, i mean i think im going insane, dissociation. And all my doctors says is " well lets start with a very low dose of klonopin"
I've had it with him, he's out, i may need to start an Anti-psychotic. But that numbnuts tried to put me on strattera, that doesnt apply anything to my conditions. I need to check him in.....
Anyways, i dont wnat to try Xanax, addiction..... but my main desicion is Ativan with maybe Moban.

klonopin works for my anxiety, but i dont have pschosis issues. You may want to try something like zyprexa- (even though i dont like the side effects) it is suppose to be a good anti-psychotic drug....
