Hi Jeroen,
Diphenhydramine is used to treat acute dystonias which occur *during* treatment with an antipsychotic. It has a similar effect to Akineton and is not usually useful for tardive dyskinesia or tardive dystonia.

Sorry to interrupt with an off topic question..
Did you ever try the anticholinergics to treat your extrapyramidal symptoms? As far as I know, actually most of the antiparkinson drugs (Anticholingerics are part of them) can be used to "reverse" EPS. (and please correct me if I am wrong :)
