How long does it take for the effects of marijuana intoxication to fully dissipate? I took some Sunday night, and here it is Wednesday and I'm still feeling a little weak with regard to short-term memory and overall cognition. "Slow," I can't otherwise describe it. For example, someone just dropped by with a relatively easy technical question, and rather than zipping back with the right answer immediately (my normal behavior) I started postulating some other solutions before realizing they were overly complex. Is the pot to blame? These effects are not permanent, I hope. I've only smoked this one time in the past year or so.

Hmm... that's fine, although I would argue this isn't necessarily substance "abuse" -- where's the line drawn? I'm more interested about its psychopharmacological properties.
