I have been struggling for nearly two years to get a dose of Lamictal that works for me without making me feel like I am in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Things are going okay, but I have started having little lightheaded spells. They are becoming more frequent. I see my psychiatris every three months and will go in about five weeks. I'm just wondering if I should call her, or if this is a fairly common side affect of the meds.

In reply to Lamictal - can it make one feel lightheaded?, posted by Phyllis98 on January 8, 2005, at 19:39:43
i have had lightheadedness with Lamictal as well, I've narrowed it down to times when I take it without eating within a few hours before taking it and also if I ever forget a dose when I take the next when I get that way, it usually fades rather quickly. But I have also had random dizzy spells with it that I can't connect to any specific factor.
