I am trying to lose weight (that i prob. got from my meds :( ) and I have a bottle of trimspa, i am wondering if it will heighten my anxiety or offset the effects the klonopin has on me. I take 3 mg daily of klon and it works great. But i just wondered if anyone else took diet pills and tranquilizing meds? ie klonopin, xanax, ativan etc.
Thanks
Sandy

Hi Sandy,
It might be a try it and see kind of thing.
However...I've not done those type of suppliments for weight loss, so technically, shouldn't post any comment. The only thing I know is how careful I have to be with any stimulant type med or product. Those products can no longer contain ephedra (in the US), but they still can be pretty high on caffiene and other stim-like substances.
Some folks aren't effected as much as others but I, being very sensitive, have to be really careful with any product or substance that increases metabolic rate - thus heart rate. I have noted when I use these to excess (too much caffiene or simply using pseudofed for sinus congestion) my Klonopin doesn't seem to cover the extra "spin up" and my anxiety can be uncomfortable.
