Last week I started Effexor XR 37.5mg one a day.
Third day I got a ringing in my ears that although it is not quite as loud it is still with me even though I discontinued it immediately.

Good move stopping the Effexor. Read over the dozens and dozens (and dozens!) of posts on this message board from people who have had horrid experiences with Effexor. This is probably the single most discussed topic on this message board.
