Finally I got my seroquel shipment yesterday.
In the nigth Im gonna take my first 25mg seroquel
then in 3 days im gonna up to 50mg. Im sure the imnsomia is gonna disappear with seroquel, so Im gonna be able to reach the 90 mg of Nardil.
I hope seroquel help me with social phobia , as it did in the past .These have been the best 2 drugs for me, but I have never taken both together. This is my first time. I hope they make a good job
I read one time , that after stopping AP for more than 4 months and then restarting again, you are 5 times more propense to developed Tardive disknesia. Im a little afraid about it
have anybody heard about it??

I am wondering were you read that about TD. Very interesting. I am wondering if it refers to the atypicals or old AP's.

Why are you 5 times more likely to develop TD? I am very curious.

I whish I had the webpage, It was an article written by a researcher in the field.I read it 3 years ago. He explained the reason but I don´t remember exactly how it was. It was a concept for all kind of AP not only the old ones

Hi Tep!
How are you doing? I hope you are feeling better than you were.
I have never heard about the risk of TD going up if you stop and then restart. The risk of TD seems to be very low with Seroquel compared with most APs.
I am happy that you've found something that helps you. Be sure to take the minimum dose of Seroquel that is effective. That way you will minimise the risk of TD and other side effects. Will you be taking it twice daily to see if it helps with your SP?
Best Regards,
Ed.PS. Just out of curiosity, what country do you live in?

Hi!
Mexico! More exciting that England! Are there any other people on babble from Mexico?
>what is your diagnostic??? are you on a MAOI too??
No, I've never taken an MAOI. I just take 140mg lofepramine at the moment.
I've had lots of diagnoses, they come and go like the wind. Few of them describe me very well....
Social phobia, depression, eating disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, OCD, somatoform disorder, chronic fatigue, specific phobia etc etc.
Ciao!
Ed.

Im a little afraid about itI have never heard that, and it sounds like nonsense...all the new antipsychotics, except Risperidone, don't really cause TD, even after long term use.
Don't be afraid my friend!!!
