I have some of these random meds still in my chest. Does anyone know if any can be used in lieu of nifedipine in a pinch in the event of a HT crisis?
Inderal (beta-blocker)
Klonopin & Xanax
Zyprexaalso: aspirin or ibuprofin

sublingual nifedipine is the drug of choice. Inderal might help, but onset of action is slow.
