I started taking 300mg of neurontin and that wasnt enough for pain of my bladder so the doctor told me to try 400mg and if that didnt work to take another 100mg. Well i only took the 400mg for one week and then moved it up to 500mg. I have been on 500mg for about 3 weeks and about a week in a half ago i started getting heart flutters. This past week the night has been the worse. This weekend my heart is racing and i have a lot of heart fluttering.
Has anyone noticed this side effect?
I will be calling the doctor in the morning. I think i am taking to much. The bad part is the 500mg is helping the pain. With the heart fluttering my anxiety is high too. I just cant win.

Yes, it is the dosage.
My dad had the same problem and one of the reasons he had to stop the Neurontin because he is on a pacemaker/defribillator and it sent it off a few times.
He had other side effects from the Neurontin too but he also said it helped his pain (diabetic neuropathy).
