I've noticed that I'll have a small "jerk" type reaction every now and then when I'm sitting still watching TV; example, the other night my right index finger twitched. Today I'm noticing more twitches. Could it be because I'm depressed and anxious and not eating and hypersensitive to everything and noticing every little thing? Or is it from something else? Will it go away or lessen?

Are you on an SSRI? I get muscle twitches when I'm on them. I think they have gotten less frequent over time. Don't know too much about it though.
Maybe others have more to say about this.

I get them too. I'm on valium which is supposed to be a muscle relaxer as well as an anti-anxiety med, and 25mg zoloft. Don't know why they happen. Fondly, Phillipa
