Seroquel and Alcohol

It wasn't until today, when I went to a different pharmacy, that the "Do not drink alcohol while on this medication" tag appeared. I have drank on it, never too much.

Why not? Does anyone know why? Please share!

It's probably just the standard warning they put on a lot of medications. If you can drink moderately on Seroquil without any problems, I wouldn't worry about it.

You might want to google the drug along with alcohol and see if there is really any special problem with combining the 2 in moderation.
