How long does it take this stuff to kick in, and can I expect it to help with this cocaine-induced depression?
I took a small dose for two days, but I felt more wired than anything, and it didn't help my depression at all. Should I avoid this medication?
How about lithium. I've read some studies that suggest it actually improves cognition. Would it be something for a bipolar II diagnosed patient to try?
My verbal abilities feel so inhibited right now.

One week is not enough to know if it will help you, although as Phillipa pointed out, you'd know if it were going to be a fiasco.
But AMD, please remember that you are not Phillipa -- the fact that she had a hypomanic episode does not mean that you will. It really doesn't even mean that she would have one again if she started the drug again. There are so many variables, and the only way to know if it is going to help you is to stick with it.
Good luck.

Great answer Racer and very true. Actually I would like to try it again. Circumstances are different now. I hated the fact that I did not have a choice of pdocs at the beach so I wanted any excuse to get a new one. Now that I'm in Charlotte and want to work again I certainly could use the energy and now the choice of pdocs is great. PS SLS his friend is using the partner of the one I will see Dec 22. Fondly, Phillipa
