Effexor withdrawal vs. Breathing

Posted by crazy teresa on January 3, 2006, at 22:05:26

This is day 3 without Effexor 225 mgs.

Looong story short: Sat., ran out dope, called in for refill, none left. Pharm. calls clinic, clinic closed for New Year's until today, can't get script until 5:00 pm. Go to get script, clinic has it screwed up. Daughter's class ran long and by the time I get back to pharm., it's closed.

Here's the twist: The headaches with Effexor and chronic sinusitus are horrible and pretty constant. Now that I haven't had any Effexor, my sinuses are draining and I can actually breathe without feeling like it's such an effort.

The headache from the withdrawal is less than what I normally have, because of the way Effexor seems to keep my head packed tightly with pressurized green snot.

Have been considering tapering off Effexor, but now that I'm 3 days into not having any, should I even go get the refill?

I'm tired of feeling bad no matter what.

Any suggestions?

Anyone else do the sinus thing w/ Effexor?
