Hey, everyone! I am new here and am very interested to hear what you may have to say....
I have been taking Lamictal (200 mg/day) for two years now for Bipolar Disorder. I don't believe I am truly Bipolar (which is another post entirely!) so my Dr. has agreed to let me come off the med and see what happens. I have a history of substance abuse which I think is the cause of ALL my mental problems. What I'm trying to say is that I want to know who I am with NO medications in my body. I've been clean for 4+ months now and I'm feeling good physically and mentally. So, my question is.....has anyone out there gone through anything similar? Do you think it's a good idea to try coming off the Lamictal? What side effects should I expect? Ohhhhh.....so many questions! Someone, please help!!
