ok now I have had some severe sleep problems over the past year. The whole time, I have been getting to sleep around 5 or 6 or 7 am. Basically sleeping while its light, and awake while its dark.
Now my dr finally gave me some ambien last week, and it has been great. For the past 5 days or so, I have been able to get to sleep around midnight and wake up around 8am.
I am ok during the day. The problem is when it gets dark out, I am getting very bad headaches. I mean they are pretty bad, pretty acute. Very hard to deal with.
I am boping that it is just my system adjusting. Everything that I read said that it is better to change your sleep gradually, and here I pretty much flipped it within a couple of days. How long do you think it will be until my body adjusts and do you think these headaches will go away soon? I hope so.

I suggest that you consult a sleep specialist to deal with your sleep issues. The question is WHY your sleep schedule was flip flopped and what you can do about it other than taking Ambien.
Good luck!

Been to one about 8 months ago, what they gave me didnt work. Finally ambien worked a year later and Im going to stick with it awhile. Also been in therapy a long time well aware of my "underlying issues."
