I'm on 75 mg and have been for just about 2 months. I really like what it does for my anxiety disorder and the sexual side effect is not nearly as bad as when I was on Paxil but I get that feeling of pressure on top of my head and I feel a little dizzy to the point where it's a distraction more than anything else.
I can go about my everday business without it being too difficult but it's bothersome, particularly on the weekend when I want to go out with my girlfriend to a movie or something and it really stands out.
Has anyone here had this on effexor or any anti-depressant? Is there any chance it can still go away or should I just go back to the Paxil?

I had the same problem, but for me it was like almost a year later. I know how frustrating it can be. I could be your blood pressure in your brain. Try splitting up your dose for a few days and see if it helps.

Is that what you did? Splitting up into two doses? My psychiatrist told me to go back onto the Paxil. Should I suggest splitting it up to him?Are you saying the dizziness went away in a year?
