Does Abilify have prolactin increasing effects? I am supposedly taking an AP because I was not functioning well and according to my pdoc an AP will help with that since ADs haven't. Should I ask for the Abilify since the Risperdal is causing the prolactin increase? I have taken lots of SSRIs but that's it really until the Risperdal. I take the Prozac still and it helps with anxiety. My doc won't give benzos (which really help but aren't good for long term) Should I try another AP or switch to a different family of drugs?

Abilify generally does not raise prolactin, due to its partial dopamine agonist action.
