I really don't think it would make a difference but my OCD is dragging me into this debate!

75 mg nocte is the usual dosage regimen.
I found that splitting the dose produced unacceptable daytime sedation.
Does nortriptyline sedate you? If not, then the two regimens are reported to be of similar efficacy when administered as monotherapy, at least.
